– Submit an application to be a Be(loved)! This is a sister collective for the Just Be(loved) slam team: a noncompetitive space to grow with and be supported by other poets in our Open Mic and Slam space. This link will force you to make a copy of the application, which you should then fill out and email to justbeloved.poetry@gmail.com.

– Emmanuel and Crystal Valentine will be hosting the NEXT Just Be(loved) Open Mic & Poetry Slam on May 15th, 2026. We will return to our regular structure of Open Mic –> Feature –> Slam this night, and our feature will be Micah Rose: Register Here!

– The Greater Roxbury Book Festival will be taking place on May 15th and May 16th, and I will be introducing this year’s keynote! Check out the flier here, and for more information about the festival, click here.

– May 16th: A New Era, a special program marking a new chapter of Spectrum music-making, Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 7:30pm

-June 22nd – 26th: Apply to take an online workshop with Emmanuel through the Fine Arts Works Center in Provincetown. Hours for the workshop are 7pm-9pm (Eastern).
